Paper Submission Instructions
IW-FCV 2026 invites submissions of research papers on topics related to image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, and their applications.
The submission process for IW-FCV 2026 has been updated from the past tradition. Authors are invited to submit papers in one of the following formats:
- Long Paper: 12–15 pages
- Short Paper: 2–11 pages
Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop as follows:
- Long Paper: Oral presentation, poster presentation, or both
- Short Paper: Poster presentation
The presentation format of accepted long papers will be determined by the organizing committee and announced later, depending on the available presentation slots and workshop capacity.
Paper Format
Papers should be prepared using the Springer Computer Science Proceedings format. Templates for MS Word and LaTeX, as well as the Overleaf template, are available on the Springer webpage: Springer Conference Proceedings Guidelines
Authors should ensure that their manuscripts follow the required format and page limits. The page limits include references.

- If you do not have a Microsoft CMT account, please visit the above website and register for a new account.
- Log in to the site above using your Microsoft CMT account.
- Click "+Create new submission" to submit your application.
If you are not on the IW-FCV2026 page, please follow these steps to navigate to it:
- Click "Conferences" in the upper-left corner.
- Click "All Conferences" under "Conference List."
- Click "The 32nd International Workshop on Frontiers of Computer Vision."
Workshop Presentation and Paper Access
All accepted papers will be presented at IW-FCV 2026. The submitted versions of papers presented at the workshop will be made available only to workshop participants.
Presentation at the workshop does not automatically mean publication in archival proceedings. Copyright of papers that are presented at the workshop but not published in the post-workshop proceedings remains with the authors.
Post-Workshop Proceedings
IW-FCV 2026 plans to publish post-workshop proceedings after the workshop. The post-workshop proceedings will include only selected high-quality papers that undergo a detailed post-workshop review.
Authors of long papers must indicate at the time of submission whether they wish their papers to be considered for the post-workshop proceedings. Only long papers that opt in for proceedings consideration will undergo the detailed post-workshop review.
Selected papers accepted for the post-workshop proceedings will be published as archival, peer-reviewed publications. Therefore, the same or substantially similar work cannot be submitted to or published in another conference, journal, or archival venue. Upon acceptance to the post-workshop proceedings, authors will be required to complete the publisher's copyright and publication procedures, and the copyright and reuse terms of the paper will be governed by the publisher's policies.
Please note that short papers are intended for presentation at the workshop and will not be considered for the post-workshop proceedings.
